XX TIPA AWARDS 2010

The best imaging products of 2010 were voted on at the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) General Assembly held from April 8'th to 10'th, 2010 in New York City, USA. The editors of the 28 member photo magazines from 9 European countries plus Canada, South Africa and the United States met to discuss the association's activities in the previous 12 months, new projects as well as to vote on the TIPA Awards 2010.

With: ANDREY TAMARCHENKO has served as an artistic guide and facilitator for over 20 years, teaching and leading groups on creative journeys and collaborative explorations. As founder and director of Nandi School of Art in Montclair, New Jersey and creative director of River Springs Art Institute and Art Farm in Catskills, NY, he brought hundreds of people of all ages in touch with their creativity. Andrey has guided numerous workshops bringing together artists and musicians, dancers and filmmakers in exploratory celebrations of the creative spirit. Born and raised in Russia, Andrey is a prolific painter, poet and seeker, and has traveled and exhibited worldwide. Over the past two years he established an artistic base in Ovada, Italy where he now teaches and leads VistaNuova Art Retreats (vistanuova.com). Andrey and his wife Julia have three boisterous young children, who speak 3 different languages at home.
