Belgian linen is considered by many to be the definitive surface for oil painting. It is also one of the the most archival surfaces. These professional stretched canvases, feature the finest, 5.5 oz pure Belgian linen that is primed with acid-free acrylic titanium gesso. After priming, their finished weight of 11 oz and makes for an outstanding painting experience.
