PastelMat is a premium card surface developed by Clairefontaine in France, who have been making paper since 1858. This particular product is made especially for artists working in dry media such as pastels, coloured pencil, graphite and charcoal. Being water-resistant, it can also be used with watercolours and acrylics and various mixed media techniques.

Maimeri Classico contains no waxes or fillers and dries to a beautiful uniform rich satin glow. The finely ground, heavily loaded colors are suspended in the finest linseed oil and have a great thick body, buttery consistency and short tack for the ultimate painting experience. Whites are blended with non-yellowing safflower oil to retain their brightness. Classico features real cadmium colors and true Cerulean Blue.
